The project
In an idyllic setting, in the heart of the Normandy countryside, we find lovers of high-quality natural materials.
As part of the renovation of an old farmhouse, transforming it into a guesthouse, our clients opted for Mera Beige limestone flooring. This stone features various shades of beige. With its aged finish and sawn edges (worn edges are also available), it strikes the perfect balance between past and present.
This stone flooring retains the authentic charm of French country homes. With a refurbishment project such as this, with the removal of some interior walls and partitions to create an open plan, the decor is energized with the more contemporary space, creating a warm and refined atmosphere. The challenge of preserving the soul of the house while giving it new vitality has been successfully met.
In one of the bathrooms, a washbasin made from the same stone has been installed. This washbasin in Mera Beige maintains the natural material's essence while fitting perfectly into its surroundings.
We invite you to learn more on their website, Le Clos du Haut, or by staying there directly.
