A butcher shop with French railway oak rustic planed boards

The Fremondière Butchery is located in Courbevoie, to the northwest of Paris. For its renovation, the company wanted a bold decor. Opium Architecture handled the project management.

We supplied French railway oak rustic planed boards with a planed finish. It was treated to achieve a darker colour. The flooring was installed as paneling with embedded light fixtures.

This use is both ingenious and original, giving a true personality to the space. The raw and dark nature of the railway board flooring complements the store perfectly.
