Antique grey-beige Bourgogne stone fireplace : This antique reclaimed French limestone fireplace displays restrained elegance compared to France’s more flamboyant styles. It features curved side jambs and a straight lintel with simple carved moulding. A medium-sized Bourgogne limestone of LOUIS PHILIPPE chimneypiece inspiration such as this one would have been in a modest-sized room such as bedroom, study or small salon. Today it could be designed into many different historic or contemporary style rooms. This antique reclaimed mantel was made from Bourgogne limestone in grey-beige tones. This antique French fireplace is clearly made by the same stone carver and from the same property as the Refs 2023037 & 2023037 antique Bourgogne limestone fireplaces.
