Weathered antique limestone trough: This authentic antique reclaimed French limestone trough will have been used in a farmyard for feeding or watering livestock over several centuries. Although its age is hard to determine, this Truly Reclaimed stone trough is no « newer » than 19th century and could be considerably older. It was hand-hewn from a single block of limestone

It will find its place in a historic farmyard, or used as a water feature or planter in a garden or on a terrace, or below a water point in a boot room or greenhouse. Sometimes designers adapt medium-sized troughs such as this one for use in a bathroom or al-fresco kitchen, where wall-mounted taps or faucets and a skillfully fitted waste outlet mean that it can be put into service.
