Squarish antique Blue Stone trough

Squarish antique Blue Stone trough : This antique stone trough was used for watering or feeding livestock on a traditional farm, hand-hewn in blue-stone from a quarry in Northern France or Belgium. Ideal for re-use for the same purpose positioned against a wall, it could alternatively be used as a water feature in a garden design, or for use as a garden planter. Being fairly deep, clients sometimes adapt troughs such as this to use as a sink or wash-basin in a boot room, rustic washroom or greenhouse. Centuries-old and Truly Reclaimed it is 19th century or older.
