Antique limestone fluted vase

Antique limestone fluted vase: This antique receptacle seems particularly old due to the exceptional patina. The original purpose of this antique pot is unknown, but it was likely a vase or plant-pot. Certainly it can be re-used as a planter either inside or outside. The decorative fluted inclined sides were expertly carved by hand, and there is a drain hole low down.
