Antique reclaimed Caen limestone floor : This is a particularly rare and exceptional consignment of Caen limestone flooring with provenance from the convent quarters of a famous Norman abbey. With the Abbey’s history dating from the 8th to the 17th century there’s no reason to assume this robust antique stone floor with its exceptional patina is any younger than the 17th century.
