Antique reclaimed square limestone pavers : An exceptional antique stone floor of regular square Bourgogne-type hard limestone with an excellent patina. The age of this floor paving is presumed 19th century, but it could be much older. High density limestone such as this is particularly robust, and although un-mistakably a reclaimed floor, it is not rustic or « medieval-look ». It will be perfect for a Classic chic restoration of a historic building, for either interior or an exterior terrace or esplanade.
Having been sawn on the underside to a fairly regular thickness (one of the photos shows the underside), this historic stone flooring is therefore fairly easy to lay.
Dimensions approx :
- 40cm x 40cm (15.75 inches square)
- Thickness = 3cm (1.2 inches)
- Weight = 70 kgs / sq metre (14.33 US lbs / sq ft) approx.
