Pair of old steel andirons

Pair of old steel andirons : This pair of firedogs or “andirons” is old but 20th century, with welding and an industrial screw thread system indicating this. However they are faithfully made to a centuries-old functional style. These fire dogs feature forged spiral twisted top supports for little saucepans permitting cooking in front of an open fire, or simply to warm up bowls of food.
