Antique limestone fountain or font: This antique stone circular basin on a column support will have been a fountain (or perhaps a font). Centuries-old it is very weathered but intact, and ready to be re-used as a fountain either inside or outside. It is rare to source such a Truly Reclaimed objet d’art. It features stone carvings that include stylized acanthus leaves reminiscent of the Corinthian Order on columns, or of a Norman era monastic feature.
It is perfect for a center-piece in a historic garden or courtyard, or even as an interior feature whether or not it is re-instated as a water-feature.
