Antique French limestone trough with end fountain. It features an iron spout which a future owner will surely be able to plumb in for running water, or re-circulation. Troughs such as these would in the past have been the principal source of water for a household or farmyard, or would serve the laundry and kitchen quarters of a more affluent residence. It will make an excellent and functional reclaimed stone garden feature, greenhouse or boot-room water source. Being composed of reclaimed elements, but not an original antique, makes it relatively affordable compared to antique stone fountains.
