Heavily weathered antique stone trough
Heavily weathered antique stone trough: This authentic antique reclaimed French farmyard trough will have been used for animal feed or water over several centuries. The age of this Truly Reclaimed stone trough is hard to determine, but being hand-hewn from a single block of French limestone it is no « newer » than 19th century and could be considerably older.
It will find its place in a historic farmyard, or used as a water feature or planter in a garden or on a terrace, or as a water point for a greenhouse. Sometimes designers will use medium-sized troughs such as this in a boot-room or even a bathroom, where wall-mounted taps or faucets and a skillfully fitted waste outlet mean that it can be put into service once carefully cleaned.
