Antique trough with drainage hole

Antique trough with drainage hole: this antique rectangular limestone trough was carved from a single block, offering raw edges and a rough surface. Adorned with a lovely patina from time, this piece in natural stone (firm limestone) embodies the essence of the past. A drainage hole is present on one of its sides. On one of its lateral faces, in the lower part, it also features a shallow hole that does not penetrate through.

This versatile trough can easily be transformed into a planter or a fountain, offering various landscaping possibilities. Estimated to date back to the 19th century, it adds a historical touch to its charm. Imagine how it could be positioned on your terrace or within your garden.
