Patrimoine classic circular pool surround in limestone : These are newly carved solid limestone pool surrounds with the same antique tooled finish as our ref 01510 flagstones. These “bassins” are replicas of historic pools much admired in French chateaux parks and gardens such as at Chateau Chenonceau.
Each curved section has been carved from a solid limestone block. Once finished to the final shape the stone cutters’ tool marks have been partially worn away to replicate the action of weathering over the centuries as authentically as possible. This example has an exterior diameter of 5 metres (16 ft 5 inches approx across), but other sizes can be made to order to correspond to the specifics of each project.
