Chambord French limestone flooring: This new « antiqued » CHAMBORD stone floor tiling is robust French limestone with its upper face and edges distressed by brushing. This makes the stone floor look and feel worn by age. The colours are varied, from light beige to a light brown, colours which seem to change depending on the light, whether natural or electric. This is clearly seen on these photos of a newly installed floor.
This French quarried limestone can be used inside or outside. Although they’ll look authentic for floors in a historic building, they’ll also be suitable for a more modern project. The high quality and variable « worn » upper surface and tone of this natural solid stone provide perfect flooring when the use of natural materials is a principal theme.
