Antique reclaimed hard sandstone setts
Antique reclaimed hard sandstone setts: This high quality consignment of antique reclaimed gritstone (hard sandstone) cobbles has an authentic worn patina gained from their exceptional provenance, the extensive quaysides and railway sidings along the River Seine at Le Havre in Normandy. They are a fairly regular 14 x 20cm size (although there are inevitably exceptions), and they feature classic French paving colour tones of red wine through to light beige and grey.
Particularly hard and robust, they are well over 100 years of age and can be re-used for paving either private or public spaces to last many more centuries. This Truly Reclaimed stone paving is particularly frost resistant, gritstone being well-known (along with granite) as being a paving solution that will last for generations even in cold climates.
