Early 19th-century stone fireplace: This antique French limestone fireplace features a refined and elegant aesthetic typical of the early 19th century. The curved jambs add a touch of sophistication and end in feet with a slight molding, providing a balanced and majestic appearance. This Truly Reclaimed stone mantel cantilevers forward. It is this “Bourgogne” style of antique chimneypiece that is frequently re-installed above the counter-top height in a kitchen above the cooker, thereby hiding the air extraction system.
