Antique Directoire style stone fireplace (reserved) : This antique French limestone fireplace is in good condition overall. It was reclaimed from a centuries-old property, carefully extracted from its position embedded into the structural wall, as can be seen by the wider stone pieces at the rear. It features Classic carvings of rosettes, a central lozenge, and raised & fielded « panel-work » on the side jambs and lintel. In the Directoire style, the precise age is unknown, but it is no more recent than 19th century.
