Antique Haussmann parquet flooring

Antique Haussmann parquet flooring : Large consignments of reclaimed Haussmann era French oak parquet floorboards. They are in good overall condition for their age, over 100 years, and ideal for Classic interiors and historic building restorations great or small. We can put them through our workshops at L’Hôtellerie-de-Flée to prepare them to be ready to lay, calibrated in uniform widths with re-milled tongues & grooves (to quote). Any adjustment to bring them down to a regular thickness is done by planing the undersides, with the upper face retaining the original patina which is brush-cleaned.

Dimensions approx :

• Board lengths varying from 300mm (12 inches) to 1800mm (70 inches)
• Widths : mostly 75mm to 90mm, but depending on available stocks
• Original thickness : +/- 23mm (almost 1 inch)
• Thickness after re-calibrating : +/- 21mm (4/5 inch)
