We recalibrate to facilitate re-laying it jointed in the traditional way. We re-mill the edges and ends with new tongues and grooves, and plane the underside to give a uniform thickness, and surface brush the upper face thereby retaining and enhancing its existing antique patine.

Thickness 20mm (0.8 inch) or 22mm (0.87 inch), but let us know if that is the thickness best for your project, as there is scope for bespoke orders. The result is an authentic herringbone parquet with no comparison to industrially made “repro” fake antique oak parquet.
