Signed Vino Bello 1932 glazed amphora: This beautiful Italian amphora of medium size features the following inscription : IL RE VINO BELLO 1932 (translates as « THE KING OF GOOD WINE 1932 »). It was hand-made in Italy we believe in the province of Taranto, Apulia, in southern Italy. It also features inscribed decor of flowers in a pot.
It will make a splendid decorative feature either inside or outside, or be put back to use for storing olive oil or wine. Its beautiful sunshine coloured glaze is nuanced in tone and mostly in excellent condition. Being dated 1932 it is already a collector’s item.
