Monumental « tear drop » stone plinths

Monumental « tear drop » stone plinths :  These 5 remarkable antique limestone plinths or pedestals in “bluestone” will originally have supported the structural columns (or piers) of a ribbed Gothic vault (or perhaps statues). They have an intriguing shape viewed from above with a principal circle flanked by a much smaller adjacent circle (which was the base for the rib). They are well worn and weathered but in good robust condition.
