Antique terracotta pots: This well-preserved antique terracotta pot was meticulously handcrafted. It boasts artisanal details, with raised floral patterns, likely depicting leaves, carefully separated by three undulating vertical friezes resembling waves.
Similar friezes adorn the pot horizontally, gracefully appearing at the opening, the neck, and the midsection of the pottery. They were likely shaped using a specific pottery tool, perhaps a comb.
Upon close examination of this pottery, small striations can be observed, likely the result of the sponge used to smooth the pot while still on the potter’s wheel. This feature adds a touch of authenticity, emphasizing the unique craftsmanship involved in its creation.
