Antique French limestone washing trough: This long heavyweight trough will make a beautiful stone planter, or a garden water feature. Dating from the 19th century, if not older, it was carved from a solid piece of French limestone. Intended for washing clothes, you can clearly see the inclined end used for soaping and scrubbing the laundry.
