Linden Green Bejmat tiles

Linden Green Bejmat tiles : Bejmat tiles have a more rustic aspect than our Zellige tiles, and come with the same glaze colour choices. This ref 2022150 is in « Linden Green N° 42 », a very pale green with subtle variation. These Bejmat tiles retain their original sides with the glaze encroaching over the edges (rather than being chiseled straight like Zellige tiles), and are close in size and appearance to glazed bricks when laid in « brick bond » as on these photos.

Our Moroccan Bejmat tiling is made by skilled artisans retaining the traditions of past generations. They are used with or without joints for vertical tiling throughout an interior (or exteriors in non-freezing climates), and are used horizontally too, such as in kitchens and bathrooms, and even for swimming pools.

Although frequently chosen for their amazing colours with their subtle colour variation, you can also opt for the more austere tones and even limit to the black, white or grey tiles colour refs as for Zellige tiles. They go very well with our other natural products in wood, stone and un-glazed terracotta.
