Antique stone gulleys

Reference : 2023162

Antique stone gulleys: This is an exceptional and rare consignment of hard limestone gulleys in a Bourgogne stone very close to the stone types of our bourgogne limestones ref 00096, 10096 and 01364. These were embedded in the paving of an esplanade to take rainwater runoff. On one of the photos, you can see the final drain gulley with its bowl and vertical drain hole (not sold separately).

You can re-use these Truly Reclaimed robust hard limestone gullies combined with our antique paving options to recreate a wonderfully authentic exterior stone terrace or driveway. NB: running rainwater or even a small stream as a rill is so much more attractive than piping rainwater underground. It is the most authentic of methods of managing water crossing a landscape, and garden designers are well aware of how attractive a water feature that is. These gullies could be used for taking water across a sloping area, integrating changes of level with stone troughs positioned that fill, and then overflow into the next run of gullies lower down the slope. Use your imagination. Create beauty from our Truly Reclaimed materials for lovely landscapes

Check out our other options of stone gulleys in blue-stone (ref. 201935) and antique granite gullies (ref. 01589).
