Monumental antique limestone and wrought iron entrance : This exceptional Italianate monumental entrance-way, presumed 19th century (main pillars) comprises a square section pair of Classic limestone pedestals with the wrought iron « cage » style columns placed on them. To either side are side walls in similar limestone forming the low walls for receiving the reclaimed spear point iron railings. A flamboyantly scolled pair of gates completes the « ensemble ».

- Overall width = 18.3 metres (comprising 13 metres of side railings + 3.5m gates + 2 x 90cm gate pillars).
On display at BCA’s Maine & Loire premises at L’Hôtellerie-de-Flée, between Segré & Craon.
