Antique limestone and wrought iron well-head : The well-head block was carved from a single block of hard French limestone. The winding gear, chain and hook is still protected from the elements by a rudimentary clay tiled roof. Although this classic « wishing well » straight from a fairy-tale appears older, with terrific authentic charm, it is from the beginning of the 20th century.
