Antique granite pillar in halves

Antique granit pillar in halves : This antique granite pillar was intact but « catastrophe » …. breakages can occur ! It is now in two sections. Originally it provided structural support in a centuries-old Britanny house. There’s the option to have it professionally repaired to re-use as a structural support column, or to use the two halves in other ways, such as exterior « historic ruin » features, driveway wheel-chasers etc.

Dimensions approx :

• Height : One is 87cm (34 inches)
• Height : The other is 100cm (39 inches)
• Size at base : 32cm x 32cm (12.5 inches)
• Shaft diameter : 32cm (12.5 inches)

On display at BCA Normandie premises at Méry Corbon, between Caen and Lisieux.
