Antique Belgian Bluestone plinth

Antique Belgian Bluestone plinth: This cubic stone block was carved from a fairly light-tone blue-stone block. Of unknown provenance it features the fine hand tool marks of the stone carver, weathered over time. Dating from the 19th century or perhaps older it will find its place surely as the supporting plinth for a statue or « objet d’art » as shown on these photos.
Reminiscent of a rolling dice, with a single dot on the side faces, it would go well in an interior featuring one of the bluestone floors we supply, either antique reclaimed or new bluestone.

This base is to be paired with an amphora or a jar.
