Antique pottery jar or vase: This antique vase or storage jar was made in terra-cotta with fine detail applied by the potter. The draped rope-work and beading is particularly attractive. Presumed of Mediterranean origin its age is unknown. Judging by the wear and patina it is well over 100 years of age.

On display in BCA’s architectural salvage and flooring showrooms at L’Hôtellerie-de-Flée, in the Maine & Loire département near Segré.
