Small nearly square stone trough
Small nearly square stone trough : This antique stone feed trough is close to a square in plan. Originally on a traditional Northern France farm, it was cut from a block of blue-stone from Northern France or Belgium. It features hand-tool marks which have been worn and weathered over time. It is ideal for re-use as a feed or water trough, but it could also be adapted as a garden water feature or planter. It would fit well against a wall, which seems to have been where it was located previously. Some clients adapt troughs such as this one as a sink or wash-basin in a boot room, rustic bathroom or greenhouse. Centuries-old and Truly Reclaimed it is no newer than 19th century.
