Huge antique stone water trough

Huge antique stone water trough : This massive French limestone trough was carved from a single block, and will have been used as a water trough at a stables or in a farmyard or manor-house courtyard. It is one of a pair, but we are selling them separately. Horse-troughs such as these were essential for water storage for livestock and this one is presumed 19th century. Much bigger than average, so therefore rare, it is in good condition and has a drain hole.
