Antique French 18th century fireplace

Antique French 18th century fireplace – Antique French limestone fireplace with Classic carved features in a transitional style Louis XV – Louis XVI. It features a carved scallop shell centered on the lintel flanked by raised and fielded panels, which also feature on the side jambs. Both lintel return pieces are supplied, although only the left one is visible on these photos. Note the fracture to the front right corner of the lintel, which can be repaired if required.
Dimensions :
- Overall width = 165cm (65 inches)
- Overall height = 127cm (50 inches).
- Front to back overall = 70cm (28 inches) including the part intended to be embedded into the wall. Front-to-back of side jambs at the foot = 58cm (23 inches) * Side jamb width = 15cm (6 inches).
- Width between side jambs = 132cm (52 inches). Height below lintel = 106cm (42 inches) *
